History

The Zellitch Family originates from Istanbul, Turkey and has a successful background in commercial activities in this country.

In 1869 the Family established the first litho-printing works in Turkey under the title of “Zellitch Brothers”

In 1964 the firm “Ekaterina Zellitch” was founded, which specialized in sales of cocoa beans and aromatic chemicals for the food and soap industries.

In 1978 the Family settled in Athens, Greece and set up “Zellas Trading Company”. The company acts as foreign manufacturers` representatives and has developed important activities in the following sectors :

  • Machinery and supplies for the fish farming industry
  • Machinery and equipment for the fish processing industry
  • Canned and frozen foodstuff
  • Industrial chemicals
  • Automotive spare parts

After more than 30 years of successful operation, the company is well established on the Greek and International markets.
